Taking Your Own Newborn Photos
Apr 01, 2020
A friend of mine posted an instagram story with a list of things she'd been considering attempting while isolated due to Covid-19. Among these was taking newborn photos of her brand new daughter. I immediately responded to this, telling her to absolutely attempt it! She shouldn't lose those precious photos to this virus. As I message back and forth with her, offering advice and even sending along some example photos of my own baby it occurred to me that she is not the only one in this boat.

ne of my favorite things about photography is getting to see some of the same clients year after year. The F family has been coming out to Orr Park for fall photos for several years now and I've gotten to see their family grow and change. Getting to see them every year also means that they were totally up to trying some new things out! I love these photos of the family playing together and I think it captures them in such a unique way.

Last month we took a blissfully amazing and relaxing family vacation with my in-laws to St. Pete Beach near Tampa. One of the things I really wanted to do while we were down there was take some beach family and maternity photos. We've made sure to take maternity photos with each of the older boys, so of course our sweet little number three needed some maternity photos of his own. When I counted out weeks and realized how far along Baby 3 and I would be, I knew we had to get at least a few shots at the beach.
