If you know me, then you know that not only do I absolutely adore my own kids, but I love my beautiful nieces and nephews to pieces. In fact, this session and the meeting of the beautiful bean in it was the thing I was most excited about being able to do safely when I got vaccinated.

As I slowly catch up on blogging sessions from last year I am loving revisiting these sessions again! This one in particular was especially sweet.

Taking a break from catching up on past sessions to bring you a new one! We spent this last weekend camping at Oak Mountain and celebrating our sweet middle child's fourth birthday. While we were out there I took him for some birthday photos. Actually this session took place in three parts.

About a month before my life ground to a hault due to a broken foot, I had the distinct honor of photogrpahong a first birthday session for some of my dear friends. I've done a few sessions for them over the years, including their older daughter's first birthday photos a few years ago. So I was very excited to do little T's photos too!

Last summer we were aching for a creative release, and Emily and I had a crazy idea. I had a dress left from a styled session the summer before, and we had a gorgoeus creek location neither of us had used before. Why not swim around in dresses? So Emily pulled together her own outfit, we put together some greenery crowns, and set our alarms for the wee hours of the morning.

My sweet baby A is almost a year old, and I realized as I prep to take his one year photos that I never blogged his last photo session!
